You will develop the skills and understanding to teach and help children at various stages of learning from birth to 3rd grade. Take courses on educational theories and practices to build your knowledge in the field of early childhood. You will then progress to more specific early childood education courses to learn how to teach children as they develop intellectually, physically, socially, and emotionally.
Project INVEST began by partnering with a consortium of schools with the goal of simplifying the process to earn both a bachelor’s in early childhood education and a Wisconsin teaching license. If you are employed by a consortium school, you may be eligible for the Project Invest Scholarship. And if you are employed by a Christian School, or a school that is an academic partner, or are an alumni of Concordia University you may be eligible to apply for an Uncommon Scholarship.
Upon completion, you will be qualified to teach children from birth through the third-grade level in Wisconsin.
